Program Director

Erin is a lifelong learner who is passionate about early literacy, building community, and helping teachers hone their craft. Prior to joining the Springboard team, Erin served as an elementary educator and a school administrator for over 10 years in Philadelphia. Erin holds a B.A. in Advertising from Penn State. Shortly after graduating she followed her heart and pursued her M.S. in Elementary Education from St. Joseph’s University. Erin has since relocated to Charleston, S.C. where she enjoys spending time with her husband and three vivacious boys. She is excited to bring her knowledge of best practices, strategic planning, and enthusiasm for education to the teachers, children, and families involved with Springboard Collaborative. Erin’s favorite childhood book is The Secret Garden because she fondly remembers her mother reading a chapter each night and getting lost in the pages of the story.
