As the oldest in a blended family of nine children, Alanna DiGioia has always been interested in children’s welfare. Combined with her love of learning and reading, this makes for a strong dedication to Springboard Collaborative’s mission; she believes that all children deserve to be given equal opportunities to succeed. Alanna holds a B.A. in Political Science from Drexel University. She first joined Springboard Collaborative as the Schoolyear Coordinator, helping a new family engagement initiative grow into what is now our Engage Fellowship. She now works as the Project Manager, interweaving our teams and supporting interdepartmental work. Her favorite children’s book is Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein, whose poems like “Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout Would Not Take the Garbage Out” never fail to make her laugh.
