Senior Learning Designer
Angie Leuchtmann, Ed.D. is a dedicated supporter of literacy for all. She is a former elementary teacher, reading specialist, and curriculum director. After years of service directly teaching kids to read, Angie moved into higher education to support adult learners with literacy and math skills. Prior to joining Springboard Collaborative, she served as Director of Teacher Education in an effort to support pre-service teachers as they reached their shared dream of teaching their own classes someday. Early on, Angie developed a passion for instructional design and has gleefully designed several courses and professional development experiences throughout the years. She is excited to engage in work that supports her biggest passions: literacy and design. Angie has a doctorate in Instructional Systems Technology as well as master’s degrees in both Literacy and Instructional Systems Technology. Her favorite book growing up was “Monster at the End of This Book” because it made reading so fun. In turn, Angie shared this book with her own two kids who still make her read it to them on occasion.
