Springboard’s 5-10 week Learning Accelerator includes:
- Weekly Reading Readiness and Phonics instruction (15 hours/week in summer; 3 hours/week in afterschool)
- Six hours of teacher training webinars on program implementation; turnkey teacher professional development resources
- Program Leader training in addition to 12 hours of Family-Educator Learning Accelerator implementation coaching
What are the expected outcomes?
On average, SLA provides 2.3 months of reading growth. Our data show that students who are furthest behind make the most progress, making this an ideal program for COVID learning recovery.
How do we start a partnership?
We can help you to launch your learning accelerator in any month, given 8-weeks of lead time to ensure we properly train and prepare your school-based teams to implement the program with fidelity.
A partnership begins with a commitment to serve at least 30 children per school. Schools select their own students, teachers, and paraprofessionals while Springboard Collaborative co-manages implementation.
